Mrs. Gilchrist, 8th Grade Counselor
Hello students, families, and all Ola community members! My name is Mrs. Monae Gilchrist, and I am your 8th grade school counselor!
As a native of Washington, D.C., the southern hospitality I experienced while attending Georgia State University heavily influenced my decision to permanently reside in Georgia. Since that time, I have made Henry County my home.
Since 2012, I have been privileged to work as a school counselor with Clayton County Public Schools at both E.J. Swint Elementary and North Clayton High Schools. I consider it an honor to play a role in supporting the success of all students as they navigate this next significant phase in life.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all as we journey together through the school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Schedule time to meet with me!
